Rail passengers travelling between Limerick and Heuston Station Dublin will see an increase in services at the weekends, with the new timetable operational between Friday and Sunday.
Iarnród Éireann has announced the additional services in response to increased customer demand, while work is ongoing to restore full services before the end of August.
A special timetable will continue to operate between Monday and Thursday and the company has advised it will monitor demand to ensure sufficient capacity.
Intending customers should check the journey planner at irishrail.ie before they travel. Iarnród Éireann has also advised customers that the wearing of a face covering is mandatory on all services.
