GARDAÍ have arrested a man in relation to an assault in Garryowen, Co Limerick on the night of June 13, 2020.
Gardaí in Henry Street received a report in relation to an alleged assault incident that occurred at a house in Garryowen, Co Limerick.
A man is believed to have had a corrosive substance thrown in his face during the incident. The man presented himself to University Hospital Limerick for treatment and was later discharged.
This morning Gardaí arrested a man, aged in his 30s, in relation to this matter. He is currently detained at Henry Street Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
