FIANNA Fáil TD for Limerick Niall Collins has welcomed his appointment as the Minister of State at the Department of Higher Education, Innovation and Science with responsibility for Skills and Further Education.
The Minister of State said: “I am extremely honoured to be selected by An Taoiseach Micheál Martin to serve as the Minister of State at the Department of Higher Education, Innovation and Science.
“I am looking forward to the challenges in this new role and to working with Minister Harris. There are lots of challenges ahead and I am extremely honoured to be a part of this Department.
“I also look forward to continuing to work hard for the people of Limerick and be a voice for the Midwest in Dáil Eireann.”
