THE Limerick Afro-Diasporan hip hop / spoken word artist has announced her forthcoming new single . The track called ‘Chaila’ drops this Friday May 29.
This release follows her tremendous one hour performance for the Courage series for Other Voices filmed at the National Gallery of Ireland and broadcast on RTE. Her compelling performance and inspiring messages of empowerment for Other Voices was further proof that Denise has the material, ability to engage with her audience and to be a significant leader in hip hop.
Talking to fans on social media this week Denise described her reaction to the outpouring of positivity for her new material and live performance with God Knows and DJ Replay on Other Voices.
“Overawed, overwhelmed, overjoyed, overloved. I don’t know what’s going on or what timeline this is but I do know I’ve been heavy with this music for so long and I’m excited to finally release it and let it go.”
