Askeaton/ Ballysteen bring Easter joy to local community

THE community of Askeaton/ Ballysteen were treated to Easter eggs over the weekend.

The Ladies Gaelic Football Club got together and asked the locals to donate Easter eggs which were then delivered with the help of the Postman.

“Happy Easter all. Over 600 Easter eggs were delivered in the Askeaton area & we would like to thank you for helping us to ‘spread the joy'”, a Facebook post read.

Gaelic for Mothers and Others were due to hold the first session of Gaelic for Girls when COVID 19 happened.
