MET Eireann has issued an orange weather warning for Ireland this weekend.
Named by the Spanish Met Office, Storm Jorge is expected to hit at 6am on Saturday and last until Sunday morning.
High winds, snow, ice and rain are expected with an orange wind warning in place for Mayo, Galway, Clare and Kerry.

Today, cold and icy weather conditions are expected with sunny spells and scattered showers throughout the day.
“Cold today with frost, fog & icy patches clearing this morning. Most places will be dry & bright with sunny spells, but scattered heavy showers will continue to affect parts of the north and northeast and some will be wintry. Cold, with highest afternoon temperatures of 5 to 8 C,” Met Eireann said.
