A County Limerick punter is toasting their horse racing expertise after they picked an incredible three winners on Thursday’s cards to land themselves a tasty four-figure payout.
The anonymous customer placed a €30 treble in a local BoyleSports shop selecting two horses running at Chelmsford and one running at Meydan and in the space of two and half hours, the treble had clicked returning a handsome profit.
The first winner for the treble came in the 6.00 race at Meydan as 15/2 shot Eynhallow landed the spoils to get things off to a flying start. The next two winners came at Chelmsford as Roca Magica won the 6.30 race at odds of 10/3, which was then followed up by Dyagilev in the 8.30 at 11/2.
When the results were known, the punter was able to exchange their betlsip for a handsome amount of €7,182.50 to start the weekend off in style.
