LIMERICK based publisher Stolen Mirror has released new music from Shanghai based musician Steve McCourt recording as Mai.
‘Arcadia 2’ is a collection of eight lush, ambient instrumentals and follows 2018’s ‘Arcadia 1’.
The new album was introduced last summer with a video for ‘Motorway’ that transforms a road trip into psychedelic abstraction.
McCourt records his synth melodies on a Telecaster guitar fitted with midi pick ups. The result is wide-screen music that combines electronic and acoustic beautifully.
