Schedule for Lions 2021 Tour to South Africa announced

In less than two years time, the British and Irish Lions will head to South Africa to take on the reigning World Cup Champions in a three-test tour.

In 2017, they faced the then World Champions New Zealand where they played out a thrilling series which ended 1-1, with the third test finishing in a draw.

Munster’s Conor Murray scores a try for the Lions against New Zealand in the second test of the 2017 Lions Tour.

The Lions travel to the South Africa for the first time since 2009 when they lost 2-1 to the then World Champions.

This time around, the Lions will have five warm-up tests against the Provincial teams before three tests against the Springboks.

The first game is against the DHL Stormers on July 3, 2021 in Cape Town.
