SOFTWARE development company, cloudcards, has signed a major partnership deal to supply CAE Parc Aviation with its customised aircraft transition and inspection system.
The Limerick-headquartered company, founded by brothers Brian and Barry Fitzgerald, will supply CAE Parc Aviation with its CARDS cloud-based software platform. It has already been successfully deployed in over 300 aircraft transition projects to manage the delivery and redelivery of leased aircraft, as well as inspection and maintenance projects.
Designed and built on Salesforce, CARDS helps simplify the management of complex aviation assets. It offers both remote and on-site auditing capabilities of aircraft documentation as well as physical aircraft inspection through its mobile application.
Following an extensive review of providers to improve efficiencies across aircraft transition, CAE Parc Aviation’s technical services division selected cloudcards CARDS system.
cloudcards was established in 2013 and recently opened offices in Dublin. The past year has been its most successful yet as it capitalises on the booming aircraft leasing business.
The company is currently closing its second funding round, details for which will be announced in the New Year.
cloudcards chief executive Bill Blake said it was a massive endorsement to be chosen to partner with CAE Parc Aviation, a highly reputable company and one that recognises the importance of innovative solutions in the ever-evolving aircraft leasing industry.
“This partnership will help expand our global footprint further and build on a very successful 12 months for the company,” he explained.
With offices in Ireland, Singapore, the United States, Japan, Vietnam and China, CAE Parc Aviation’s technical services division specialises in supporting the full aircraft lifecycle, from aircraft build and delivery to operation and transition.
CAE Parc Aviation head of aircraft leasing services said they were delighted to partner with cloudcards who have a solid reputation in the industry.
“The CARDS platform meets our needs and those of our customers, while dramatically reducing the cost of aircraft asset management. Not only is it easily adopted but it can be used worldwide in any jurisdiction and covers all aspects of an aircraft transition process.”
