Later this month Limerick will travel to the US once again for the Aer Lingus Super 11’s, with the event taking place in New York this year.
The Munster champions will be defending the trophy they won last year in Boston with wins over Wexford and Cork.
This year they will once again face Wexford in the semi-finals of the exhibition tournament with a clash with either Tipp or Kilkenny awaiting the winners.
At the launch of the Tournament today, Limerick’s Diarmaid Byrnes showed off the jersey for this year’s tournament with some slight alterations from last year’s design.

Aer Lingus will once again be the Official Airline of the event and will be responsible for flying the four teams to New York. Adare Manor will sponsor the jersey like they did in Boston last year.
Limerick had no sponsor on the body of their jersey in the league or championship in 2019.
The specially commissioned O’Neill’s jerseys have several unique design features which make them stand-out from the four counties’ regular playing kit.
These are:
Aer Lingus logo featuring on the jersey sleeve
GAA/GPA crest on front of jersey at opposite side to county crest
‘New York Hurling Classic 2019’ embroidered text under county crest
