Gardaí have arrested and charged a man in his late 20s in relation to a burglary at a bar on O Connell Street, Limerick on the 20th September 2019.
On the morning of the 20th September, Gardaí from Henry Street received a report of a burglary that had occurred overnight. The suspect had entered the bar through the roof and left the scene after taking a sum of cash.
Following a preliminary investigation, a man in his late 20s was arrested in Limerick city on the evening of the 21st September. He was brought to Henry Street Garda Station where he was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984.
He has since been charged and is due to appear before Limerick City District Court this morning, 23rd September 2019 at 10:30am.
