Patrickswell and Kilmallock played out an entertaining 0-18 to 0-18 draw at the LIT Gaelic Grounds last night.
Aaron Gillaneโs injury time free saw The โWell to the draw and they remain unbeaten in the Bon Secours Limerick SHC as a result.
Following the game, Patrickswell manager Ciarรกn Carey admitted that his side were not at their best.
โHaving performed the way we did, definitely under performed, and to come away with a draw Iโm delighted for the lads.
โThey showed a bit of character in the last 10 minutes and only for that they wouldnโt have come away with a draw.โ

Elsewhere, there was disappointment in the Kilmallock camp. John Brudairโs side led 0-7 to 0-0 after a blistering opening, but were undone by poor discipline.
The concession of frees allowed Patrickswell back into the game. Selector Jamie Wall says that they were disappointed not to come away with the victory, but happy with their response from the loss to Na Piarsaigh,
โToday we got a bit of a performance, but this club isnโt built on performances itโs built on results.
โAnytime you draw a game that you feel that you could win is disappointing. Look there are a lot of positives to take from it too.
โYour job is to accentuate the positives and take them and take the negatives and work on them.
โOur free count was poor. There is no getting away from that. We left ourselves against an opposition that has one of the best free takers in the country stay in the game.โ
