
Johann van Graan’s Munster will make the short trip to Connacht to play a pre-season game at the Sportsground the province have confirmed.
The game in Galway takes place on Saturday, September 21 and will have a 3pm kick-off. The fixture will be a key part of Munster’s preparations for the Pro14, which has a later start due to the World Cup in Japan.
Munster had a seven point victory when the sides met at the same venue in last season’s Pro14 fixture in Galway. The province also confirmed that more pre-season fixtures will be announced in due course.
