Munster have been drawn into Pool 4 of the 2019/2020 Champions Cup this afternoon in what is a tough draw for last years semi-finalists.
Johann Van Grann’s side have been handed a very difficult draw on paper, facing current holders Saracens who beat Munster in last year’s semi-final, as well as a Racing 92 outfit with some Munster stock of its own in Simon Zebo, Donnacha Ryan and Mike Prendergast. Pro 14 side Ospreys make up Pool 4 in what some are calling the “Group of Death”
The first round fixtures in the Heineken Champions Cup will take place on the weekend of November 15-17. This is in order to avoid a clash with the Rugby World Cup in Japan and is a later than usual start.
