A DELIGHTFUL afternoon was had by all the ladies who attended the recent Munster Heart Foundation luncheon and fashion show.
The event took place in the elegant surroundings of the Liszt Lounge at The Savoy in the heart of Limerick city and was supported generously by the many guests who purchased tickets for the fundraiser.
The stylish ladies were greeted with a prosecco reception on arrival as they took the opportunity to catch up before heading upstairs for the main event hosted by RTE’s Will Leahy.
Throughout the delicious courses at the luncheon, there was fashion inspiration for Spring from top boutiques in Limerick City and County showcased by models from the Hilary Thompson Agency.
Other highlights included a stunning door prize sponsored kindly by Keanes Jewellers and a raffle supported by local sponsors with prizes such as a weekend in Paris for two with flights, transfer and match tickets for Six Nations’ France V Ireland up for grabs.
Singer Liam O’Brien entertained guests during the event which will see funds raised going towards the establishment of defibrillators to various locations, particularly rural areas with full training provided.
