New Signing ✍🏼 ⚽️
We’re delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Darren Murphy, who was with us last year and will add great experience on the field #limerickfc

Murphy signed for the club from Cobh Ramblers in July 2018 and made his full debut against St. Patrick’s Athletic in Richmond Park. He gave a combative display, similar to that of his manager Tommy Barrett when Barrett played for Limerick under Noel O’Connor.
The former Cobh man went through the Cork City academy along with Cian Coleman and Chiedozie Ogbene and left in 2015. He had spells at both Waterford and Cobh. Murphy had played in a couple of pre-season friendlies for the Shannonsiders but as the season approached, a move looked unlikely. Limerick supporters will be happy with the addition.
