NOVAS ANNUAL SLEEP-OUT WILL BE SUPPORTED BY ALL-IRELAND HURLING CHAMPIONS AND THE LIAM MCCARTHY CUP

Novas is the largest provider of homeless services in Limerick and the wider Mid-West region. Founded in 2002, we provide a range of services to support people with their Housing, Health and Recovery.

In 2017 Novas supported more than 4,500 people. This was an increase of 29% from the previous 12-month period and 375% since 2010.

Throughout 2017 Novas worked with 176 families and 450 children in Limerick. These families were supported by Novas’ Intensive Family Support service in the city. Approximately 50% of the families supported by Novas were homeless, the remainder were at risk of homelessness.

Novas’ Street Outreach service operates 365 days a year. It provides a warm meal, warm clothing and support and advice to people on the margins of society. In 2017 it provided more than 11,000 warm meals.

We also provide a range of accommodation services throughout the city including McGarry House and Brother Russell House.
