BUILDING on the popularity of its Harvey’s Quay restaurant, Milano is gearing up to open its second restaurant in Limerick, within the Crescent Shopping Centre on Thursday, November 22, 2018.

The new Milano features their trademark central oven, comfortable banquette seating and framed booths offering a view into the bustle of the kitchen. Alternatively, diners can find a quiet spot to relax after retail therapy.

A curated mix of photography and bespoke graphical prints are hung together to form clusters of art inspired by the fashion industry. Artwork features imagery from the 1960s through to the current day. The collection also celebrates Limerick’s own Celia Holman Lee. Often described as ‘Ireland’s most successful model’, Celia has had an amazing career and Milano is delighted to be able to include photographs from her personal archive.

The new restaurant is also expected to create 35 jobs with restaurant manager Eileen Condron commenting: “We are incredibly excited to be opening our new restaurant in the Crescent Shopping Centre, the second Milano restaurant in Limerick. The team and I can’t wait to provide our guests with memorable experiences over great food.”

The opening coincides with the launch of the Milano Christmas menu designed for gathering with friends, family and colleagues to celebrate the good times over delicious food. They’ve got plenty of Christmas specials to dazzle and delight – will you try the Milano twist on Pigs in Blankets? Their new festive pizza, La Festiva, topped with succulent pulled turkey and festive stuffing? Or enjoy the Snowball Dough Balls, dusted with cinnamon and served with your choice of fruit coulis, salted caramel or vanilla cream dip.

But don’t worry if you want to enjoy your favourites from the main Milano menu, they will remain available too! Open seven days at Crescent Shopping Centre, Dooradoyle.
