THE importance of Shannon Commercial Properties to the prosperity of Mid-West Region was highlighted by its inclusion on the shortlist for the Property Industry Excellence Awards.
A Shannon Group company, Shannon Commercial Properties (SCP) is a finalist in the Regional Excellence category of the national awards event at Dublin’s Convention Centre on Thursday, November 8.
This recognition of the company’s success comes after a record-breaking period of investment over the past four years. Since 2014, it has invested €40 million and creating new and upgraded office and advanced manufacturing space in the Shannon Free Zone.
SCP has constructed of new offices and advanced manufacturing units for tenants such as Jaguar Land Rover and GE Sensing and refurbished over 500,000 sq ft of facilities initially constructed in the 1980s.
Tenants that have occupied these upgraded facilities include Edwards Lifesciences, Magellan Aviation, STS UJet, Jetpower and others.
The company’s regeneration and development programme to completely rejuvenate the Shannon Free Zone will affirm its role as a significant regional strength and employment centre.
