Paddy McCourt’s first-half penalty was the difference as Finn Harps beat Limerick FC 1-0 in the first leg of their promotion/relegation play-off in Ballybofey on Monday night.

The defeat sees Limerick’s top flight status hanging in the balance but Tommy Barrett and his side are hoping for a vocal home support at the Markets Field on Friday night as they look to overturn the deficit.
