Bridie Monds-Watson, or Soak to her fans, has just released new material on On Rough Trade Records. The track ‘Everybody Loves You’ was mastered right here in Limerick at Wav Mastering by Richard Dowling. It is the first track from the forthcoming album from the Derry girl that scooped the Irish Choice Music Prize Album of the Year 2015 for ‘ Before We Forgot How to Dream’.
In a statement the 22 year-old songwriter says ‘Everybody Loves You’ is a song about “acceptance and denial that’s almost comical, essentially part of the process of growing/ wising up.” No live date in Limerick date announced yet but in the meantime she is playing a few intimate gigs including The Grand Social, Dublin on November 27.
