ORGANISERS of this year’s Villiers School TY Fashion Show gathered at the Radisson Blu Hotel on the Ennis Road last week to officially launch the popular show.
Mayor of Limerick Cllr James Collins was there to herald the much-waited fashion event that is celebrating 30 years!
This year’s fundraiser will take place at the Radisson Blu Hotel on Tuesday, October 23 at 7.30pm. The show will be produced by the Hilary Thompson model agency and more than 80 TY girls and boys will take to the stage on the night showcasing designs from local shops such as Dorothy Perkins, Wallis, Oasis, Warehouse and Phase 8 (all from Shaws at the Crescent Shopping Centre), Connolly Men, Gleeson Sport Scene, Esquire, John Duignan Menswear and Ivory Closet, to name just a few of 30 shops taking part.
Hair for the models will be styled by students from LCFE under the guidance of Jude Cross, with make up by Catherine Hickey Hair and Make Up, Dooradoyle. Charities to benefit from this year’s show include Temple Street Hospital metabolic unit and Zest4Kidz (Uganda Fundraising). Tickets from Villiers School and on the door on the night; doors open 7pm.
