Trip to Wexford up first for Limerick hurlers in 2019 League
Limerick’s senior hurlers face a trip to Wexford in their return to Division 1A of the Allianz Hurling League according to the provisional fixture list.
John Kiely’s men are set to travel to the sunny south east on Sunday, January 27th for their opening game and then welcome Tipperary to the Gaelic Grounds six days later for an evening game.
Limerick will then head off to Kilkenny and Nowlan Park on February 17th, before hosting Cork in their second and final game at home. The last game of the group stages of the league is set to be a cracker with Limerick facing Clare in Ennis. That tie is set to take place on the first weekend in March.
The fixtures for Limerick’s footballers have also been revealed. An away tie against London is up first, also on January 27th. They are also out the following two weeks with a home game against Waterford and then face Wicklow away.
There is for two weeks before Limerick then welcome Leitrim and then Derry in consecutive weeks. On St Patrick’s weekend, Limerick will head to Innovate Wexford Park, before their final game at home against Antrim.
