Proper Micro NV is the moniker of Limerick electronic music producer Rory Hall. He has released a new single ‘Dot Dot Dot’ out on Strange Brew Recordings.
The new single lays the groundwork for a new collective promised for an Autumn release.
Hall describes the single as “A little bit more techy and dance driven [than previous releases]. Dot Dot Dot is written about making a decision. A constant back and forth within a human mind and ultimately deciding what to do. The agony of waiting for the answer. It’s actually partly inspired by me deciding what type of collective I wanted to put out next”
This single is a follow up to 2017’s Colours EP, which picked up positive press and saw Proper Micro NV play the Wonderlust Stage at Body&Soul festival, Futureproof gig (run by blogger Nialler9) and Rory also played to a full house at Whelan’s Ones To Watch Festival 2018 in January.
Says Rory on his new recordings for the Galway based label,
“After a year of focusing on live work and new material, these songs feel right and ready. I think I’ve written quite an honest electronic record. Here we go again!”
Proper Micro NV plat The Record Room at The Commercial this Friday July 20.
