THREE cars that were burnt out in the front driveway of a house in Limerick are the subject of a technical examination by Gardaí at Henry Street. Reports of the three cars being set on fire were made in the early hours of Wednesday morning. Shortly after 3am emergency services were dispatched to the scene at Chestnut Close in Elm Park, Castletroy. A navy Renault people carrier, a Mazda saloon and a smaller two-door hatchback vehicle were extensively damaged in the blaze. Gardai say that the technical examination is being carried out to determine if a criminal damage investigation is to be launched.
