KOSTAL has had a presence in Ireland since 1981 and now has two high tech manufacturing plants located in Abbeyfeale, Co. Limerick and Mallow in Cork employing almost 1000 employees.

This approach now sees KOSTAL Ireland GmbH recognised as the centre of excellence in electronic manufacturing within the KOSTAL Group and fast becoming the knowledge hub within the group for the development of the On-Board Charger for electrically powered vehicles.
This excellence in quality is also recognised by the company’s customers. KOSTAL Ireland received the ‘Supplier Excellence Silver Award’ from Jaguar Land Rover in 2017 for its outstanding performance and this year received the ‘Supplier Excellence Gold Award’ for top production performance.
Group chairman and CEO Andreas Kostal attributes this success to “the engagement of all employees in Ireland and the close co-operation between Irish employees and the international KOSTAL Community”.
