Munster have found out who they will be playing in next season’s Heineken Champions Cup after today’s draw in Lausanne, Switzerland.
Johann van Graan’s side have been drawn in Pool 2 along with French outfit Castres Qlympique and English duo Exeter Chiefs and Gloucester.
It will be a swift return to Thomond Park for South African second row Gerbrandt Grobler who will be playing for Gloucester next season after leaving Munster.
The first round of pool fixtures take place on the weekend of October 12th to 14th. Next season’s final is penned in for St James’ Park in Newcastle.
Elsewhere, champions Leinster have been drawn in Pool 1 along with Wasps, Toulouse and Bath.

Ulster have also been handed a tough draw. They will face off against Scarlets, Racing 92 and Leicester Tigers. Connacht will play Bordeaux-Begles, Perpignan and Sale Sharks in the Challenge Cup
