GRAMMY award winning conductor and composer Eric Whitacre will visit the city for this year’s Limerick Sings International Choral Festival. He will be gifted Limerick lace as a welcoming civic honour at UCH by Mayor Stephen Keary, in recognition of his cultural achievements.
Renowned also for his skill in TED talks and education, Eric Whitacre is one of the principals in Limerick Sings gala concert at UCH on Saturday June 9, 8pm. Running from June 7 to 10, Limerick Sings Festival will feature four main concerts, choral workshops, outdoor chorus and free choral trail.
