After the release of the debut album and subsequent busking tour of Germany, Galway Street Club have returned to Irish shores for a four-date nationwide tour. Taking in Limerick, Galway, Cork and Dublin, Galway Street Club will bring to venues the same electric atmosphere they bring to city streets. And theyโre sure to rake in even bigger crowds than the enthralled pedestrians who fill their guitar cases with change.
A band that regularly packs Galwayโs Rรณisรญn Dubh to capacity, this tour sees Galway Street Club bringing the full complements of the band to the stage.
With more members, more instruments and more songs, these shows will be some of GSCโs finest. And with the added thrill of their new original material, these are Summer-shows not to be missed.
The tourโs support act will be Gleewood from New Mexico, USA. A band steeped in the vintage blues-vibes of Led Zeppelin, White Stripes and Black Angels, Gleewood will provide a classic-rock contrast to the roots-music of Galway Street Club.
A potent cocktail of sounds. Galway Street Club play Dolanโs this Saturday June 2.
