Castletroy based Senator Kieran O’Donnell wishes to make people of the greater Castletroy/Annacotty Area aware that Limerick City and County Council have now prepared a new Draft Castletroy Local Area Plan 2019-2025.
Senator O’Donnell states that:- “as part of this process, the Council are holding a Public Information evening in the Kilmurry Lodge Hotel, this coming Wednesday 30th May from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. I would encourage everyone to attend this information evening and have their input into this new plan for their area.
“At this Public Information evening the public will have the opportunity to raise any concerns, issues or opinions they have in relation to this proposed new Castletroy Local Area Plan 2019-2025.
“This Proposed new Castletroy Local Area Plan is on public display until Monday 2nd July. This may be inspected at the Council’s offices in City Hall, Merchant’s Quay and County Hall, Dooradoyle as well as in the Granary and Dooradoyle Public Libraries. Also, this Draft plan can be viewed on the Council’s website at www.limerick.ie/local-area- plan-castletroy.
“Furthermore, the Council is seeking formal submissions from the Public on this new Plan for Castletroy. These can be made in writing to: Forward Planning Section, Economic Development Directorate, Merchants Quay, Limerick or instead by Email to [email protected] by close of business on Monday 2nd July 2018. These will be taken into consideration before the Local Area Plan is made. I would encourage people to review the plan and make submissions.
“The greater Castletroy/Annacotty Area has seen rapid expansion in recent years and it is important that the Local Area Plan reflects and meets the needs of the growing young population here.
