THE IDA made 69 visits to areas in Dublin to look at potential investment sites in the first three months of this year in comparison to just eight in Limerick. The information was contained in a Dáil response to a question from Fianna Fáil spokesman for business, Deputy Billy Kelleher who said there was plenty of land available for development outside of the greater Dublin area. “How does the IDA expect foreign investors to set up on these lands when they don’t bring them to visit them?” he asked, adding there is now “a two-tier recovery”.
