BROADBAND access is the subject of a call from Sinn Fรฉin MEP Liadh Nรญ Riada, who is urging communities across Limerick to register for the WiFi4EU scheme.ย The Ireland South MEP, who played a leading role in making the project a reality, was speaking as it was announced that the initiative is now open for registrations.ย The scheme will see free public Wi-Fi hotspots installed in communities across the EU.ย โIt is a fantastic development for citizens throughout Europe and as it is being delivered on a first come first served basis I would urge as many Irish communities and businesses as possible to register for it,โ she said.
