THE UNIVERSITY of Limerick and Limerick Institute of Technology have projects shortlisted for the inaugural national DELTA Awards that celebrate achievements in teaching and learning.

The inaugural national awards (Disciplinary Excellence in Learning Teaching and Assessment) will be hosted by the National Forum next Wednesday in Dublin and will celebrate discipline groups within institutions who demonstrate sustained achievements in teaching and learning enhancement.

They form an integral part of the overall National Learning Impact Awards designed to enhance, showcase and strengthen teaching excellence in higher education by recognising the value of teaching at a national level

UL‘s Law school, graduate medical school and the clinical therapies school all have projects shortlisted for this Wednesday’s Dublin awards night, while LIT’s applied social sciences school has a project shortlisted in the social sciences classification.
