DECLAN Hannon makes his return from injury to take his place at centre back in the Limerick hurling team that welcomes Dublin to the Gaelic Grounds this Saturday for the third round of the Allianz Hurling League.

The Adare man comes back into the side after returning from the hamstring problem he picked up against Kerry in the Munster Hurling League last month.

Limerick manager John Kiely has also brought Barry Murphy and David Reidy into the team that beat Offaly by 17 points last time out.

Murphy is rewarded for his fine form in the Fitzgibbon Cup with his first start in the league. Paddy O’Loughlin, Barry O’Connell and the injured Darragh O’Donovan are the players to drop out.

Limerick have tasted victory in their opening two games of the competition, while Pat Gilroy’s side have won once and lost once. The game on Saturday has a 7pm throw-in and is live on eirSport.
