A man in his 20s has been arrested in connection with the murder of Martin Clancy in Limerick city last weekend.
He was arrested in Cork city at around 8pm last night and is being held at Roxboro Garda Station in Limerick.
The body of Mr Clancy, 45, was found at his apartment in Little O’Curry Street last Sunday night.
Gardaí began a murder inquiry into his death following a post-mortem examination.
