Following the conclusion of a post mortem examination today, Gardaí have upgraded their investigation into a suspicious death in Pallaskenry County Limerick to a murder inquiry.
A 29-year-old man arrested in connection with the investigation remains in custody.
Gardaí were called to a house in the village shortly before 5pm yesterday when they found the body of 35-year-old local man, Willie Lynch.
The area was immediately sealed off for a technical examination and the office of the State Pathologist notified.
