Limerick’s Sage cafe announced its closure this Monday after 11 years of trading on Catherine Street

SAGE cafe, one of Limerick’s most popular cafe restaurants has closed after 11 years of business.

The announcement came via twitter this Monday morning when a message posted on the Sage Cafe account read “Farewell”.

 

The news has left fans of the Catherine Street restaurant shocked with many taking and responding on social media.

Owners Siobhan and Mike Hogan said that they were making the move with heavy hearts to pursue other ventures.

Thanking their staff and loyal customers throughout the years, The Sage Cafe team said that it was hard to close something they had worked so hard to build.
