Having piped their way to the glory of Munster (Junior) Champions on June 11, 1967 in Cork, members of the 20-strong Limerick Pipe Band saluted their audience in full dress.
From left, standing: P Ryan, pipe major; C Leo, J McManus, T McMahon, V Lyons, S Kiely, J Williams, T Williams, T Moore. Front: Ge Foley, J Sheedy, O Millar and J Lilles.
Today only four are alive as the band plays on with new generations: Christy Leo, Vincent Lyons, John Lillis and Joe Sheedy.
