Update
A MAN in his 70s has died following a three car collision in Limerick this Tuesday morning.
Earlier, Gardai and emergency services attended the scene of three car collision on the Condell Road in Limerick.
Three units from Limerick City and County Fire and Rescue together with emergency paramedics were assisting gardai at the scene of the accident near the Clondrinagh Roundabout end of the Condell Road.
The collision happened around 8:15am this Tuesday morning.
Traffic is effected in both directions as Gardai have closed the road from the roundabout to the traffic lights junction at Shelbourne Road.
Diversions are in place for the morning.
It is now understood that a man has died as result of the collision.
His remains have been removed to University Hospital Limerick for post mortem examination.
