Limerick businesses can ‘Elevate’ this February

-

LIMERICK businesses are being urged to “Elevate” next month and partake in the ISME business briefings to help better their business.

With information and discussions on topics like alternative sources of finance; managing credit risk, networking and more, ISME’s Elevate Business Briefing Series for Spring will hit Limerick on February 15.

Aimed at owners and managers of small and medium businesses, this series of business briefings is being designed to provide a forum for SMEs to gain business insights and information; stimulate new ideas; as well as offering great opportunities to network with fellow business people and grow their business.

ISME Chief executive Neil McDonnell, said “SMEs are looking beyond the gloom of Brexit at the opportunities ahead. Despite the challenges, we’re optimistic for 2017.”

Conall O Móráin, presenter of The Sunday Business Show on Today FM will chair the sessions and will open each session with a general overview about business in Ireland for SMEs.

Each event will feature a presentation by Paula Carney-Hoffler of Hugh J Ward & Co. Solicitors, about “Managing Credit Risk and Getting Paid.”

In his presentation, Ross McCarthy, Keystone Procurement will demonstrate how SMEs can grow their business through contracts and collaboration, and offer advice when dealing with tenders to the public sector.

The seminar will also hear from a local SME on their business story to date.
