Leading outlets from across the region present in top-to-toe guide for Christmas season
Top prize of flights for new Shannon-Stockholm service, plus much more, up for grabs on the night
Tuesday 15th November 2016: Shannon will have a very stylish best foot forward on Tuesday December 6th next when some of the region’s top fashion houses will present their best wares for the upcoming Christmas season at the airport.
In a throw-back to the famous fashion shows of yesteryear at Shannon, the ‘Fashion on the Runway’ event will be the region’s ultimate and biggest Christmas sartorial shopping guide for both sexes, with items from leading houses from Clare, Limerick and Tipperary all set for the runway. Proceeds from the event will go to the airport’s designated charities.
Models – led by one of the region’s most stylish and one of its best known ladies of the sky, Aer Lingus’ Liz Mangan and the relentless force that is Munster and Ireland flanker Tommy O’Donnell – will give the large attendance the perfect solution to their Christmas shopping conundrums.
Special guest and presenter on the night will be one of Ireland’s best loved fashion experts, Shannon native, TV presenter, journalist and founder/editor of Exquisite.ie Aisling O’Loughlin.
