LED by Owen Gilhooly of Aoide Choir, various operas and his own Mid-West Vocal Academy and Music School, ‘Jingle Bells for Joseph’ is a seasonal fundraising concert.
Taking place on Friday December 2 in Milford Church, Castletroy at 7.30pm, “Jingle Bells for Joseph is in aid of Joseph Monaghan,” Owen, a tenor, explains. “Joseph has undergone pioneering surgery in Leeds to treat cerebral palsy and spastic diplegia. His ongoing medical costs are estimated at €30,000.”
As well as Aoide choral uplift, look forward to Limerick singers Conor Gibbons, tenor, Martha O’Brien, a mezzo, David Howes, baritone and soprano Killi Ann Masterson. The pianists are Conor McCarthy and Irina Dernova.
€20 for tickets or €40 family of four through www.uch.ie box office and choir members.
