MUNSTER’S Peter O’Mahony will captain Ireland this Saturday against Canada at the Aviva Stadium in his first outing in a green shirt since the Rugby World Cup.
O’Mahony is joined in the backrow by Sean O’Brien and Jack O’Donoghue. Ultan Dillane and Billy Holland combine in the second row with Finlay Bealham, Sean Cronin and Cian Healy making up the front row.
Kieran Marmion and Paddy Jackson form a partnership at half-back while Luke Marshall and Garry Ringrose are paired in midfield. The back three is made up of Craig Gilroy and Keith Earls on the wings and Tiernan O’Halloran at fullback.
James Tracy, Dave Kilcoyne, John Ryan, Donnacha Ryan, Dan Leavy, Luke McGrath, Joey Carbery and Niyi Adeolukun provide cover from the bench.
There are three debutantes in the starting XV – O’Donoghue, Holland and Ringrose and a further five amongst the replacements – Tracy, J. Ryan, Leavy, McGrath, Adeolukun.
