ADARE has been named the county winner in the Tidy Towns awards in Limerick.

Ardpatrick Galbally and Rockhill also earned glory, achieving the status of highly commended, commended and endeavour respectively.

Ennis in county Clare took the overall national title in the big town category while it also took the regional award.
