THE CITY Division of Limerick GAA takes pride of place this week as Monaleen represent the metropolitan area when they face Carbery Rangers of Cork in the Munster Senior Club Football Championship.
Fellow City based club Patrickswell are also celebrating this week as they claimed their 19th Senior Hurling crown with a 1-26 to 1-7 win over Ballybrown last weekend.
