A POST Mortem has been carried out on the remains of a motorcyclist killed in County Limerick over the weekend.
On Sunday afternoon, a man in his 30s was fatally injured when the motorcycle he was driving crashed in to a wall at around 3.30pm.
The accident occurred on a stretch of road near Ballinaclough, Pallasgreen.
It is understood that no other vehicle was involved in the accident and garda forensic collision experts have examined the scene.
Later on Sunday, the man’s remains were removed from the scene and brought to University Hospital Limerick for post mortem examination which took place this Monday.
The Limerick tragedy was the third road death over the weekend after a young man was killed in a Dublin crash involving two motorcyclists and a teenage boy was killed in a Dublin hit-and-run.
