THE LIMERICK senior football championship has reached the final four, with three city division clubs in the hunt for Newcastlewest’s crown.
On Friday night, Na Piarsaigh, the reigning county hurling champions, take on Drom/Broadford in Mick Neville Park. The Light Blues, finished top of group 1, a pool that contained both St Patrick’s and Drom/ Broadford. Indeed Na Piarsaigh beat the county side when the two sides met in May. The second semi final sees local rivals Monaleen and St Patrick’s meet on Sunday night in what is sure to be a well attended clash, under lights in the Ennis Road.
