LIMERICK Arts Office writes in with notice of September’s Tuesday night classical music concert, the 27th, at All Saints Church in Castleconnell. Tomorrow night’s is the second in the annual Autumn Concert Series. Introduced by RTE lyric fm’s Liz Nolan, you’ll be present for ‘Il Furidondo, the Madman’ – in this hallowed place.

Baroque violinist Debbie Diamond, visiting from London,ย appears as a special guest in this concert to dazzle theย listener with some Corelli. This performance offers theย listener a spirited and evocative journey through soundsย birthed nearly 400 years ago.

Cellist Aoife Nic Athlaoich, playing on a late 18th-centuryย English cello by Jonathan Barrett, and harpsichordist Yonitย Kosovske present solo and duo instrumental pieces fromย the 17th and 18th centuries.

Composers include household names like Bach, Geminiani,ย Telemann and some lesser-known works by Frescobaldi,ย Froberger, Triemer, Barriรจre, and Jacquet de la Guerre.
