Cannabis seized by Limerick gardai

cannabis herbGarda from Henry Street supported by the Divisional Drugs Unit found a significant amount of drugs during the search of premises at Castlewell, Courtbrack Avenue on Limerick’s South Circular Road last Wednesday afternoon.

Cannabis plants with a street value of more than €19,000 were seized.

A 32-year-old man was arrested at the scene on foot of a European Arrest Warrant.

He was later brought before the High Court in Dublin in connection with this warrant and is awaiting extradition.
